Vince is an interactive performer, believing that the audience should not be separated from the show but instead be a part of it. One of few dulcimer players to converse while performing, he also brings a bit of cultural and historical perspective to every performance.

Vince has been named Solid as a Rock (solo musician) by the 2011 Colorado Renaissance Festival (given for consistently meeting high standards), voted among the Best Solo Street Acts by the 6th Annual Renaissance Festival Awards (third place, 2010), voted Favorite Lane Act by the Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire at Wentzville (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), Favorite Lane Entertainer by the Louisiana Renaissance Festival (2005), and named Best Music Group by Kansas City Renaissance Festival (2002).
